Our client, a leader in aerospace technology, is seeking a Lead Materials Engineering Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, the ability to work independently, and excellent communication skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Lead Materials Engineering Technician

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $33.00-34.00 Hourly

What's the Job?

• Operate a wide variety of analytical equipment for receiving inspection testing of production materials.
• Conduct engineering evaluations and failure analysis in the Metals and Fluids Labs.
• Interface with other Technicians and Engineers, as well as personnel from other organizations.
• Support other labs such as Chemistry and Polymers on an as-needed basis.
• Manage multiple concurrent activities and assignments with minimal oversight.

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on lab experience in metallurgical lab support or similar analytical laboratory experience.
• Considerable expertise with a variety of analytical instruments and techniques.
• Experience in metallurgical sample preparation, tensile testing, or similar analytical lab experience.
• US Citizenship due to contractual requirements.
