Our client, a leader in the technology sector, is seeking a Lead Engineering Technician to join their team. As a Lead Engineering Technician, you will be part of the Engineering department supporting a dynamic team focused on testing Inertial and Guidance Electronics products. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, which will align successfully with the organization.

Job Title: Lead Engineering Technician

Location: Clearwater, FL

Pay Range: $33 per hour

What's the Job?

• Execute hands-on diverse technical tasks related to testing Inertial and Guidance Electronics products.
• Prepare test documentation and review test work instructions and procedures.
• Perform dynamic, thermal, and functional testing across various environmental conditions.
• Set up, program, and operate special test equipment to perform Acceptance Test Procedures.
• Maintain detailed test logs and provide daily pass-along shift information both verbally and in writing.
  
  

What's Needed?

• High School Diploma or GED.
• U.S. Citizenship is required due to government regulations.
• Minimum of two years of experience with general test equipment including oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, and power supplies.
• Formal technical training from an educational institution or the U.S. military is preferred.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and take initiative in completing tasks.
