Job summary

Empower is seeking an experienced software engineer to lead Salesforce CPQ initiatives and drive scalable CPQ solutions. You will work with Salesforce Classic, Lightning, Visualforce, Apex and RESTful integrations to empower our customers’ sales processes.

The role emphasizes strong certifications, deep CPQ expertise, and collaboration across product, engineering, and operations teams. A flexible, inclusive environment supports growth and learning.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• Minimum of 2 or more active Salesforce Developer Certifications
• 2+ years of experience with Vlocity CPQ/Salesforce CPQ.
• Deep development experience with Salesforce, Classic, Lightning, VisualForce, Apex, Data Raptors, OmniScript, Java Services and integration techniques.
• Strong experience implementing, enhancing, and supporting CPQ Salesforce.
• Strong experience with object-oriented programming and experience with at least one object-oriented programming language (Java, Python).
• Ability to recommend when to use declarative code vs custom code using Visualforce and Apex.
• Experience working with JSON and XML
• Practical experience with Agile software development is a plus.
• Demonstrates continuous learning of new technologies.
• Self-motivated individual that thrives in a team environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What will set you apart:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field of study is highly desirable.
• Experience in implementing and using Copado is a plus.
• Practical experience building highly scalable web applications is a plus.
• Knowledgeable in modern integration methods (API Gateway/Web Services, Messaging & RESTful architectures) along with preferred experience in legacy SOAP interfaces.
