Job summary

RTX is seeking a Chief Engineer for the PW4000-100 program in the U.S. to provide engineering leadership and strategic direction. You will collaborate with regulatory authorities, airlines, and industry partners to ensure certification and successful program delivery.

Lead multi-disciplinary teams, communicate complex technical information to senior leadership, and address technical challenges to optimize engine performance while managing program risk and opportunities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with 12+ years of relevant experience or 10+ years with an advanced degree.
• U.S. citizenship is required to access information under these programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering leadership and strategic direction for PW4000-100 program.
• Collaborate with internal/external stakeholders, regulatory authorities, and partners to ensure success and certification.
• Represent engineering to the IPMT and lead multi-disciplinary teams to achieve program objectives.
• Summarize complex technical information for regulators, airlines, and Airbus.
• Address technical challenges and optimize engine performance with regulators and manufacturers.
• Support development of technical solutions to address program risks and opportunities.
