Job summary
ABOUT YOU is seeking a (Senior) Software Engineer to join Supply Data Solutions to improve infrastructure, data pipelines, and translating business requirements into software solutions.
In our team, analytics engineers, data scientists and software engineers collaborate to deliver scalable, reliable software. You will help shape and build the Pricing Engine within a modern AWS-based stack and CI/CD workflow.
Qualifications
- Strong software engineering background with 6+ years experience.
- Expert level Python skills.
- Good understanding of software engineering best practices and design patterns.
- Understanding of data pipelines and orchestration systems.
- Experience building production-grade applications.
- Packaging and modularization of software systems.
- Experience with cloud services (AWS) and version control (Git).
Responsibilities
- Develop practical optimization and algorithmic solutions for business challenges.
- Build and maintain our infrastructure and orchestration pipelines (using AWS Lambda, Batch, Step Functions).
- Ensure services are up and running.
- Write efficient Python code.
- Manage CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure deployments using GitLab and CloudFormation.
- Monitor and improve systems proactively.
- Mentor junior colleagues.
