Job summary

RealPage, Inc. is seeking a Lead Engineer IV as the team's senior technical and delivery leader.

This role combines hands-on engineering with Scrum-Master-like facilitation to drive Agile delivery and the team's AI-assisted coding direction. You will own architecture, set standards, mentor engineers, coordinate workload, and represent the team in stakeholder discussions while evaluating new agentic tools to improve quality and velocity.

Qualifications

8+ years of professional software development experience.
Expert-level knowledge of .NET, Angular, and SQL Server.
Experience running Agile teams or Scrum-Master-like facilitation.
Strong experience with scalable, distributed systems.
Ability to orchestrate workload without formal people-management authority.
Track record directing coding agents on complex/high-stakes work.

Responsibilities

Run the team's Agile process end-to-end: sprint planning, standups, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
Coordinate day-to-day work, sequencing stories, balancing workload, and removing blockers.
Own the team's architecture and technical direction for AI-assisted coding workflows.
Set team standards and guardrails for agentic development.
Lead design and review of the team's most complex features, stepping in on high-risk work.
Mentor engineers on core skills and responsible use of coding agents.
Represent the team in stakeholder conversations, surface risks, dependencies, and delivery status.
Evaluate and introduce new agentic coding tools and workflows, measuring impact on quality and velocity.
