The Lead Engineer position at Pegasus Support Services, LLC in Omaha is responsible for the ongoing operation and maintenance of building systems. You will supervise technicians, diagnose issues, and ensure preventive maintenance on mechanical and electrical components.

The Lead Engineer position is responsible for all working matters in the operations of the facilities. Must possess experience in the building mechanical operations, supervision of technical personnel and maintenance for buildings of the approximate size, complexity, and characteristics of multi-story office and warehouse buildings.
The Lead Engineer will direct and coordinate activities of other staff members in performing tasks directly related to operating and maintaining the system or systems. Is required to be skilled in troubleshooting and/or repair of electronic control equipment.
Shall have at a minimum 3 years of experience within the past 5 years of employment demonstrating reference knowledge, skills and ability with mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems that provide an establishment with such services as heat, air-conditioning (cool, humidify, dehumidify, filter, and circulate air), refrigeration, steam or high temperature water or electricity. Minimum requirements for this position include a High School Diploma or GED. Experience in directing operation and maintenance of equipment in a supervisory capacity. Also, must possess verifiable understanding and experience in troubleshooting, repair and replacement of building specific equipment.
Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from customers, managers, and staff members. Ability to write reports. Must have the ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, fellow employees, and customers.
Must be able to read and interpret various information to ensure procedures are followed.
The employee is frequently required to stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee may occasionally be required to lift more than 75 pounds. The employee must have close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
Work environment will require on-call rotation. The employee may be exposed to noise, dirt, dust, grease, machinery with moving parts, irritating chemicals, and occasional cold, heat, and inclement weather. The work may require the use of protective devices, such as masks, goggles, and/or gloves.
