Job summary

PACCAR is seeking a Project Lead Engineer in Battery Development to create and own project plans for high voltage battery activities, delivering cost and timing commitments and reporting status to key stakeholders.

The role focuses on internal Global Powertrain programs, coordinating with design, validation, and supplier teams. Travel up to 20% is required, and experience with HV battery systems and program management is expected.

Responsibilities

• Define, develop, validate, and release HV battery plan timelines.
• Integrate design, validation, and production activities into a single plan.
• Coordinate master timing with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Own electrical components or subsystems requirements and documentation.
• Collaborate with PACCAR divisions, suppliers, and customers; manage multiple tasks.
• Travel domestically and internationally up to 20%.
