Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Systems, or related Engineering discipline.
• 7+ years of experience in physical product design, development, integration, or production support with leadership responsibilities.
• Experience taking products from requirements/concept through prototype, test/verification, and production use.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop engineers; set priorities and resource plans.
• Serve as senior technical lead/design authority for product development and first-build projects.
• Translate requirements into design inputs, plans, acceptance criteria, and risk controls.
• Lead design reviews, trade studies, prototype builds, test planning, verification/validation, and release decisions.
• Ensure drawings, BOMs, specs, interfaces, and test evidence are complete and traceable.
• Drive DFM/DFA, cost improvements, supplier evaluations, and re-verification as needed.
• Lead root-cause investigations and resolve design, supplier, or production issues.
