Job summary

Responsibilities include budgeting, policy implementation, and coordinating with consultants and contractors to deliver safe, reliable transportation assets.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required with eight years of related experience, including two years in a lead or supervisory capacity.
• Strong knowledge of civil/environmental/structural/mechanical/electrical engineering concepts.
• Experience with budget planning, contracts, and cost estimation.

Responsibilities

• Oversees and implements engineering functions for a major division or program.
• Develops, manages, and monitors project budgets and forecasts.
• Reviews plans, specifications, and change orders; negotiates contract terms and manages costs.
• Acts as liaison among consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and city departments.
• Coordinates with other agencies and internal/external customers to meet project goals.
