Job Description

Job Summary

Designs and builds company-specific enterprise application systems and provides technological expertise across multiple disciplines.

Applies and promotes key principles such as stability, scalability, performance, security, compatibility, and re-use, balancing tactical and strategic solutions. Considers business problems end-to-end, including people, process, and technology, both within and outside the enterprise. Promotes industry and enterprise technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies for potential application within or across the organization. Adheres to design and development standards, methodology, and frameworks within architectural compliance and governance.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities

• Develops software through hands-on coding to meet business objectives.
• Practices and leads software and application development methodologies, adhering to standards.
• Designs and develops software applications or systems to solve specific business or processing problems (Web or Mobile).
• Gathers business requirements and develops conceptual and technical designs for multiple projects concurrently.
• Reviews system capabilities, workflows, and limitations to determine feasibility within existing systems.
• Conducts peer reviews to ensure standards and quality.
• Responsible for quality delivery for self and team; participates in build vs. buy evaluations.
• Leads architecture and design discussions in line with development standards.
• Provides design and architectural expertise to technical teams and business partners.
• Supports system performance, budgeting, and planning as the application system/service owner.
• Ensures system stability and scalability.
• Aligns with project methodologies and change management processes.
• Organizes, manages, and leads cross-team project tasks and deliverables.
• Designs and builds enterprise-level application systems.
• Prepares and presents solutions for technical peer review committees.
• Fosters cross-organization teamwork, collaboration, communication, and leadership.

Job Qualifications

Required Education

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on technical implementation experience in mid to large IT enterprise environments.
• 5-6 years of IT technical experience with enterprise infrastructure.
• Industry certifications preferred.
