Designs and builds company-specific enterprise application systems and technology expertise across multiple disciplines.

Applies and promotes key principles such as stability, scalability, performance, security, compatibility, and re-use, ensuring a balance between tactical and strategic technology solutions. Considers business problems end-to-end, including people, process, and technology, both within and outside the enterprise. Promotes the use of industry and enterprise technology standards. Monitors emerging technologies for potential application within or across the organization. Adheres to design and application development standards, methodology, and frameworks within architectural compliance and governance.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Develops software through hands-on coding to meet key business objectives.
• Practices and leads software and application development methodologies in adherence to standards.
• Designs and develops software applications or systems to solve specific business or processing problems (Web or Mobile).
• Gathers business requirements and develops conceptual and technical designs for multiple projects concurrently.
• Reviews system capabilities, workflow, and scheduling limitations to determine feasibility of requested programs or changes within existing systems.
• Conducts peer reviews of developers (internal and contract staff) to ensure standards and quality.
• Ensures quality deliveries for self and application engineers. Participates in build vs. buy evaluations.
• Leads architecture and design discussions following software development standards.
• Provides architectural and design expertise on application systems/technologies to technical teams and business partners.
• Supports application system/service owners regarding system performance, budgeting, and planning.
• Ensures application system stability and scalability activities are performed.
• Aligns with project methodologies and change management processes.
• Organizes, manages, and leads cross-team project tasks and deliverables.
• Designs and builds enterprise-level application systems.
• Prepares and presents solutions for technical peer reviews.
• Fosters cross-organizational teamwork, collaboration, communication, and leadership.

Job Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field.

Experience: 3+ years of hands-on technical implementation experience in mid to large IT enterprise environments; 5-6 years of IT technical experience with enterprise infrastructure. Industry certifications are preferred.

Pay Range: $88,453 - $206,981 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on location, experience, education, and skills.
