Job summary

One Park Financial is seeking a Lead Engineer to own and evolve the Python-based pricing engine that prices every new business and renewal offer. You will lead the technical direction, work across Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, and QA, and drive the team to ship reliable pricing changes.

This hands-on role requires owning architecture and mentoring engineers while integrating AI/LLM tooling to speed delivery.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional Python development in production environments.
• Experience leading or mentoring engineers and setting coding standards.
• Experience building and maintaining REST APIs (FastAPI, Flask).
• Hands-on AWS experience operating production services (ECS/Fargate, DynamoDB, S3, CloudWatch).

Responsibilities

• Own the pricing/decision engine end-to-end, deployed on AWS.
• Mentor and lead engineers, set architecture and review standards.
• Collaborate with Product, DevOps, Data Engineering, Data Science, and QA.
• Design, run, and analyze A/B tests for pricing strategies.
• Ensure data correctness and robust data storage with DynamoDB and S3.
