Job summary

MicroTech seeks a Lead Engineer to guide systems integration and Windows software deployment supporting the global MEDEX/MEDXS mission across military theater environments.

This role provides technical direction for deploying, integrating, and sustaining systems, coordinating planning, testing, and documentation, while ensuring readiness across OCONUS operations.

Qualifications

• Active Secret clearance and a valid U.S. passport with at least 18 months validity remaining on the first day of contract performance
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, or equivalent
• CSSLP or GCLD or GSEC or Microsoft Engineer/Architect certification or equivalent preferred with a minimum of 5 years' experience
• Applicable DoDM 8140.03 foundational qualifications must be satisfied before independently performing duties requiring privileged access or covered cybersecurity functions

Responsibilities

• Lead technical planning and execution for theater systems integration.
• Coordinate Windows software deployment, configuration, testing, and operational validation.
• Evaluate system interfaces, dependencies, and deployment readiness.
• Troubleshoot complex integration issues and coordinate resolution with engineering and operations teams.
• Maintain technical designs, implementation procedures, configuration records, and deployment documentation.
• Demonstrated experience integrating systems in military theater environments.
• Experience planning and executing Windows software deployments.
• Ability to translate mission requirements into executable technical activities and direct engineering personnel.
• Proven experience managing personnel deployments, navigating the SPOT, and coordinating host-nation theater clearance and DOCPER requirements across multiple OCONUS areas of responsibility.

Mission Commitment

This is a Government-designated Key Personnel position requiring technical and OCONUS readiness on the first day of performance and continuity throughout the assignment.

Comp Band: $111K - $157K
