Randstad USA in Jacksonville, FL is seeking an experienced Engine Mechanic for a high-volume shop. The role requires hands-on expertise with engine swaps, cylinder heads, timing belts, and complex diagnostics.

Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

• Engine & Major Line Work: Perform complex mechanical line services, including full engine swaps, cylinder head replacements, timing belts/chains, and internal engine repairs.
• Diagnostics: Troubleshoot and diagnose complex engine, drive axle, fuel, and electrical issues using professional diagnostic scan tools.
• Under-Car & Drivelines: Service and repair differentials, brakes, steering, and suspension systems on gas passenger vehicles and light-to-medium trucks.
• Quality & Safety: Road-test vehicles to verify repairs, maintain accurate job records, and uphold clean, safe shop standards.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment
