Job summary

Ford Model e U.S. in Michigan seeks a highly experienced Engine Design Supervisor for IPTSE, leading propulsion system design and release for current and forward model applications. You will manage powerpack delivery, coordinate subsystems, and drive cross-functional collaboration.

The role demands 8+ years in ICE engineering, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of FMEA, GD&T, and DV/PV methods. Hybrid onsite work, with a mix of leadership duties and hands-on problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of Component and System/Subsystem D&R experience; internal combustion engine experience.
• Ability to lead in a team environment.
• Knowledge of FMEA’s, Control Plans, and DV/PV Plans.
• Knowledge of GD&T and Dimensional Control (SPC, etc.).
• Basic knowledge of NVH, Materials, Durability and Manufacturing processes.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving skills and background.
• Ability to present information to all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design release and attribute delivery of the engine powerpack, subsystems and components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet program milestones.
• Prepare and present information to all levels of management.
• Lead in a fast-paced, self-managed environment with heavy workload prioritization.
