Job summary

Barnes-Jewish Hospital at Washington University Medical Center in Missouri is seeking a Lead Endoscopy Technician. You will set up procedural rooms, assist physicians, and coordinate daily workflow with RN support.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2–5 years of experience preferred.
• Certified in the field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare endoscopy suites for procedures and ensure equipment is functioning.
• Assist physicians during procedures and handle supplies for tissue collection and hemostasis.
• Assist in specimen collection per hospital policy.
• Perform pre-cleaning, reprocessing, and proper storage of endoscopes and accessories.
• Maintain patient safety in pre-procedure, procedure, and recovery areas; manage schedule and training of staff.
