Job summary

Patriots Law Group of Lyons & Hughes seeks an experienced Employment Law Paralegal to support a growing practice. You will manage case documents, draft pleadings, and handle discovery with minimal supervision, allowing attorneys to focus on strategy.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years of paralegal experience in labor and employment law, strong writing skills, and the ability to manage deadlines in a busy litigation environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in labor or employment law.
• Experience supporting litigation-heavy practices.
• Proficient with state and federal court filing systems.
• Experience with administrative agencies (e.g., EEOC, state boards) preferred.
• Strong multitasking and prioritization abilities.
• Excellent written and oral communication; professional discretion.

Responsibilities

• Prepare initial drafts of pleadings and legal documents under attorney supervision.
• Manage case documents, calendars, and discovery materials.
• Draft and respond to discovery requests; organize deposition exhibits.
• Research statutes, regulations, and case law; provide written summaries.
• Interact with clients and other professionals; relay information to attorneys.
• Assist with trial/hearing preparation and coordinate filings.
