Job summary

Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, Inc. is seeking a Lead Compliance Engineer - EMC in Pullman, WA, joining our Product Compliance team. You will oversee EMC testing programs for industrial and utility-grade equipment and provide technical support to product development.

You will develop and maintain compliance strategies, mentor engineers, and ensure tests and reports meet ISO/IEC 17025 standards while aligning with SEL’s quality and customer-focused culture.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related field; equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of EMC compliance testing experience in electronics.
• Familiarity with EMC design mitigation for industrial/public utility equipment.
• Hands-on knowledge of EMC testing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain standards for EMC testing of industrial equipment.
• Create tests, procedures, and reports per ISO/IEC 17025.
• Understand SEL products and markets.
• Mentor engineers and technicians in EMC testing.
