Job summary

EPAM Systems in Boston seeks an exceptional electrical engineer with 8–12 years of experience to act as a technical leader on multidisciplinary projects. You will own architecture decisions for embedded systems, mentor junior engineers, and interact with clients to define scope and communicate results.

You will lead cross-discipline teams, document designs clearly, and guide the adoption of emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• BSEE or equivalent from an accredited program; advanced degree a plus.
• 8–12 years of electrical engineering experience.
• Analog, digital, and mixed-signal circuit development and troubleshooting.
• PCB design and board-level subsystem experience for embedded systems.
• Practical working knowledge of electromagnetic compatibility (EMC) design.

Responsibilities

• Serve as lead electrical engineer on projects; own architecture and guide the team from concept through delivery.
• Define system design and architecture; identify/refine architectures with clients and teams.
• Prototype electronics; evaluate boards, sensors, motors, and peripheral hardware.
• Design mixed-signal circuits for embedded applications, medical devices, and robotics.
• Design and operate test fixtures; perform EMC/safety testing per project needs.
