L3Harris Technologies in Melbourne, FL is seeking a Lead, Software Engineer to guide embedded software development across the full lifecycle for Modems, RF Transmission Systems, and Satellite Communications in a real-time, multi-threaded environment.

You will lead cross-functional teams, drive architecture and coding standards, and collaborate with internal and external customers to deliver reliable software solutions.

Qualifications

7+ years of C/C++ embedded software development experience.
Experience in multi-threaded Windows or Linux environments.
Real-time Linux development experience is preferred.
Experience with CMake and Wireshark for network analysis.
Exposure to Agile software development methodologies.

Responsibilities

Lead design and implementation of embedded software through the lifecycle.
Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet requirements and schedules.
Support bid/proposal efforts and risk assessment.
Troubleshoot issues; perform root-cause analyses.
Deliver briefings/workshops for engineers and stakeholders.
Ensure coding standards and technical specifications are followed.
