Job summary

Glassboard is a hardware product development firm in Indianapolis. We seek a Lead Embedded Software Engineer to own technical direction and deliver firmware across multiple programs, while managing a team of engineers and maintaining strong client relationships.

You will work closely with hardware and software teams to define architecture, review code, and ensure successful product realization from concept to commercialization in fast-paced environments.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years of engineering or product development experience, with leadership of engineers or programs.
• Bachelor's Degree in EE/CE/EET/CET or Computer Science preferred, or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee embedded software standards, source control, and best practices across the team.
• Drive firmware development with emphasis on performance, hardware integration, and robustness.
• Translate customer requirements into technical specs and guide team execution.
• Lead client communications, scoping, timelines, and program financials.
