Job summary

Polluxa, Inc. in Bethlehem, PA seeks an Embedded Software Lead to guide firmware development for battery and energy management systems, driving architecture, design, and cross‑functional collaboration across hardware, cloud, and product teams.

You will define strategy, ensure verification and traceability, and lead a team to deliver robust software for energy platforms with strong emphasis on safety and cybersecurity requirements. This is an in‑person, on‑site role in Bethlehem, PA.

Qualifications

• BS degree with 9+ years experience in C/C++, STM32, ARM, RTOS.
• Experience with MATLAB/Simulink, functional safety, renewable energy/EV charging/ups preferred.
• Experience with cybersecurity for industrial/energy systems and product certification preferred.
• Lead embedded software development to BESS/EMS platforms.
• Develop firmware for battery/energy management systems, battery controllers, power conversion and monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Define system architecture, firmware design strategy, coding and development, technical designs, source code, and validation.
• Develop low-level drivers, middleware, stacks and application software; perform board bring-up, peripheral integration, debugging and optimization.
• Lead embedded software team and collaborate with hardware, systems, cloud and test teams.
• Define firmware verification/validation and support system testing.
• Ensure traceability, version control, releases, and support customer design audits.
