Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• 2+ years of professional embedded software and control systems experience in real-time or safety-critical apps.
• Proven technical leadership across multiple projects or platforms.

Responsibilities

• Define and own embedded software and controls architecture for vehicle-level systems.
• Design, implement, and review embedded firmware in modern C++ for real-time control.
• Lead drivers, middleware, and application frameworks on safety-capable MCUs.
• Establish coding standards and architectural patterns across the organization.
• Drive system-level design decisions with hardware, firmware, networks, and customer feedback.
• Collaborate in an Agile environment with CI practices to deliver quality software.
• Anticipate safety, service, and lifecycle risks and mitigate through engineering design.
• Lead debugging and root-cause analysis across hardware, firmware, and system layers.
• Mentor and review to improve software and controls maturity.
• Work with electrical, hydraulic, systems, validation, manufacturing, and service teams.
• Influence roadmap decisions for controls architecture and safety strategy.
