QUALCOMM, Inc. is seeking a Staff Embedded NPU Software Engineer to lead the design and development of embedded platform software across Snapdragon SoCs, CPUs, DSPs, and NPUs.

You will architect and optimize software frameworks that enable high-performance, low-power multimedia and ML workloads across mobile, automotive, compute, and XR platforms. As part of the NPU Platform Software Team, you’ll work from drivers to frameworks, collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams, mentor

Qualifications

• Bachelor's, master's, or PhD in engineering, information systems, CS, or related field.
• 4+ years (or 3+ with MS, or 2+ with PhD) of software engineering experience.
• 2+ years in programming with C/C++, Java, Python, or similar.

Responsabilités

• Architect and design NPU software frameworks, libraries, and drivers.
• Lead development of complex NPU features with system-level integration.
• Optimize performance, power, and reliability across CPU/DSP/NPU.
• Mentor engineers and perform design/code reviews.
• Collaborate with hardware, systems, and product teams.
