ESI Motion is seeking a talented leader to drive development, design, system integration and maintenance of embedded hardware platforms for Space Orbital and Aerospace missions. The role emphasizes ownership from concept through qualification, with a sign-on bonus up to $20,000 based on experience.

Qualifications

• 10+ years recent experience in embedded hardware development.
• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required.
• Strong leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on attitude with ability to lead full product development.

Responsibilities

• Lead teams in product definition, architecture, and hardware reviews.
• Develop and maintain micro-controller based digital/analog electronics.
• Interface with customers to define requirements and ensure satisfaction.
• Coordinate hardware releases, BOMs, and qualification reports.
• Lead design reviews, documentation, and test planning.
• Mentor and guide other engineers and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee system integration of hardware and software for space/aerospace projects.
