Resideo is seeking a Technical Lead - Systems & Embedded Engineering to own requirements and dependencies across engineering functions for cutting-edge connected devices.

You will shape product architecture, manage projects, and drive New Product Introduction processes to deliver high-quality, secure products. This role involves coordinating global teams and balancing technical and strategic demands in a hybrid work environment.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in embedded systems engineering, product development, and technical leadership.
• 5+ years of experience in embedded product development.
• 3+ years of experience in product requirement creation.
• 3+ years of experience in product development lifecycle.
• 3+ years of experience coordinating dependencies between firmware, mechanical, hardware, and software engineering team members.

As the Technical Lead - Systems & Embedded Engineering, you will participate in a project team environment, owning the requirements and dependencies amongst the different engineering functions. The project team will be responsible for the development of cutting-edge connected devices. Your expertise in product architecture, design, project management, and new product introduction process will be crucial in ensuring the requirements & dependencies are completed allowing successful delivery of high-quality, reliable, and secure products.

JOB DUTIES:

• Ensure that global engineering functions are highly organized through dependency tracking and have the tools to work seamlessly across time zones.
• Partner with the other engineering functional team leads to deliver high quality products, on time and in scope.
• Partner and coordinate dependencies with external design resources as needed.
• Recommending & drive process improvements to improve team efficiency.
• Support development of product plans and roadmaps for Comfort product lines.
• Ensure that appropriate technologies are identified, researched, and developed for timely introduction into Resideo products and systems.
• Ensure that product architecture, design and development support common platforms, maximize reuse and reduce product development cycle time.

YOU MUST HAVE:

• 12+ years of progressively responsible experience in embedded systems engineering, product development, and technical leadership
• 5+ years of experience in embedded product development
• 3+ years of experience in product requirement creation
• 3+ years of experience in product development lifecycle
• 3+ years of experience with coordinating dependencies between the engineering functions, such as firmware, mechanical, hardware, and software engineering team members.

• Demonstrated cross-functional interaction with Sales, Product Management, Quality and Operations.
• Familiarity with hardware design, firmware platforming and app & cloud integration.

Hiring Salary Range : The typical hiring salary for this role, ranges from USD $139926.82 to $208762.91 per year but varies by specific work location. Within a range, our company determines base pay for an individual based on various factors, including market conditions, skills, and experience.

Incentive Eligible (RBP) : This position is eligible for a performance-based bonus of up to 10% of the annual base salary. The bonus is contingent upon both individual and company performance.
