Clear Point Consultants is seeking a Lead Embedded C Software Engineer for a direct-hire, hybrid role based in Burlington, VT. You will lead embedded software development close to hardware, delivering reliable, high-performance code with cross-functional collaboration.

The ideal candidate has strong C/C++ expertise, hands-on work with microcontrollers, RTOS or bare-metal environments, and a solid understanding of hardware/software interfaces.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred.
• Strong experience in embedded C development.
• Experience with microcontrollers and RTOS or bare-metal environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software for microcontrollers.
• Collaborate with hardware, firmware, and systems engineers.
• Debug and optimize software at the hardware/software boundary.
• Participate in architecture, design reviews, and testing.
• Develop software for embedded platforms and peripheral drivers.
• Support full software development lifecycle.
