Job summary

Clear Point Consultants is seeking a Junior to Mid level Embedded C Software Engineer to join our client’s engineering team in a hybrid role in Raleigh, NC. You will develop reliable, high-performance embedded software close to hardware and participate in design reviews.

The ideal candidate has strong experience in C for embedded systems, microcontrollers, RTOS/bare-metal development, and solid HW/SW interface understanding.

Qualifications

• Strong experience developing embedded software in C.
• Experience with microcontrollers and RTOS or bare-metal development.
• Solid understanding of embedded systems and HW/SW interfaces.
• Experience debugging embedded systems with JTAG, oscilloscopes, or logic analyzers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain embedded software using C/C++.
• Work closely with electrical, firmware, and systems engineers.
• Develop software for microcontrollers and embedded platforms.
• Debug and troubleshoot software at the hardware level.
• Participate in architecture, design, testing, and code reviews.
• Work with communication protocols, peripherals, and device drivers.
• Support the full software development lifecycle.
