Job summary

National Seating & Mobility, Inc. is seeking a Licensed Elevator Mechanic to lead installation and service of commercial and residential elevators.

You will work under the General Manager with the Project Manager and Sales team, mentor junior technicians, ensure compliance with state codes, and coordinate inspections. The role requires licensure, hands-on installation experience, problem solving, and independent work ethic.

Qualifications

• Licensed Elevator Mechanic with current license
• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 2 years direct elevator installation experience
• Knowledge of Home Access & Elevator technology

Responsibilities

• Lead installer for commercial and residential elevators and lifts.
• Attend state site inspections and ensure installations pass requirements.
• Provide routine and preventive maintenance for elevators and lifts.
• Mentor junior technicians and provide on-site guidance and training.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and owner to align installations with drawings and scope.
