Job summary

Masimo Medical Technologies (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. in Irvine, CA seeks a Sr Engineer, Electronics to lead the design, development, verification, and support of complex electronic hardware for Masimo’s medical device products.

You will contribute to architecture, circuit design, board-level implementation, verification, and sustaining engineering. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive design reviews, troubleshoot issues, and deliver hardware solutions that meet product

Qualifications

10+ years of electronics design, development, and troubleshooting.
Expert in analog and digital circuit design.
Proficient with schematic capture tools: PADS, OrCAD, Altium.
Experience with PCB layout, board bring-up, and high-speed design.
Strong troubleshooting using electronic lab instrumentation.
Experience with embedded systems and firmware support for board bring-up.
Knowledge of I2C, SPI, UART, and USB protocols.
Experience across full product development lifecycle from concept to production.
Ability to translate system requirements into hardware design solutions.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and documentation skills.
Effective written and verbal communication across teams.
Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

Lead analog/digital circuit design for medical device electronics.
Own hardware design activities across architecture, schematic, implementation, and sustaining support.
Oversee board and flex cable schematic entry and layout collaboration.
Define and verify board/system-level test plans.
Perform electrical calculations, tolerance analyses, and performance assessments.
Troubleshoot complex electrical issues and lead root cause analysis.
Collaborate with software, mechanical, systems, manufacturing, and quality teams.
Provide guidance during design reviews and project milestones.
Support failure analysis investigations and corrective actions.
