Job summary

Naval Air Warfare Center Training Systems Division (NAWCTSD) seeks an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader to guide the MRO Production Department, oversee wiring and connectors maintenance for electronic systems, and lead training initiatives for journeymen and new hires.

You will plan and assign work, troubleshoot technical problems, and ensure adherence to established craftsmanship and safety standards in a naval maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• You will teach procedures, principles, and knowledge related to trade and craft practices.
• You will assign work to artisans indicating methods and equipment to be used.
• You will install, maintain, and repair wiring and connectors for electronics equipment and systems.
• You will demonstrate proper work methods to train journeymen, workers, new hires, etc., to update and improve knowledge, skills, techniques, methods, and procedures.
• You will use hand and power tools in the repair, installation, assembly, and disassembly of electronic integrated systems.
• You will plan electronic integrated systems maintenance work assignments required to accomplish mission.
• You will plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long range basis.
• You will investigate technical problems and apply corrective action.
• You will accomplish other duties as assigned.
