Job summary

NAVAIR at Lemoore Naval Air Station, CA seeks an Electronic Integrated Systems Mechanic Leader to guide the MRO Production Department. This role focuses on directing maintenance of complex electronics systems in a federal manufacturing setting.

The position requires hands-on wiring, repairing, and training personnel, with long-range planning responsibilities to ensure mission readiness. Excellent mentorship, tooling, and safety practices are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience teaching procedures and training personnel.
• Ability to assign work and manage craftsmen.
• Skills to install, maintain, and repair wiring and connectors.
• Plan maintenance work and long-range assignments.
• Investigate technical problems and apply corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Teach procedures, principles, and knowledge related to trade practices.
• Assign work to artisans indicating methods and equipment to be used.
• Install, maintain, and repair wiring and connectors for electronics equipment and systems.
• Demonstrate proper work methods to train journeymen, workers, new hires, etc.
• Use hand and power tools in repair, installation, assembly, and disassembly of electronic integrated systems.
• Plan electronic integrated systems maintenance work assignments to accomplish mission.
• Plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long range basis.
• Investigate technical problems and apply corrective action.
• Accomplish other duties as assigned.
