Job summary

Orion Placement is seeking a field service professional to take the lead on AC/DC motors, industrial pumps, gearboxes, fans, and other rotating equipment. You will work on-site in the Philadelphia region with shop work as needed, and you’ll receive a company-provided work van and gas card to support your independence.

The role emphasizes hands-on troubleshooting, safe workmanship, and strong customer relationships, with a long-standing, service-focused organization behind you.

Qualifications

  • 1+ year of AC/DC motors and pumps experience.
  • 1+ year of electromechanical field service.
  • Strong troubleshooting, repair, rebuilding, and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with bearing replacement, shaft alignment, and vibration analysis.
  • Ability to work independently and manage field service calls.
  • Excellent customer service and communication.
  • Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and rebuild motors, pumps, gearboxes, fans, and other rotating equipment.
  • Perform field service work at customer locations, including bearing replacement, shaft alignment, and vibration analysis.
  • Diagnose equipment issues efficiently and recommend effective repair solutions.
  • Manage your own service schedule and field calls with a proactive, dependable approach.
  • Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and high-quality service.
  • Assemble and disassemble motors and perform related shop work during periods between field assignments.
  • Work independently while leveraging shop resources and technical support when needed.
  • Maintain a strong focus on safety, workmanship, responsiveness, and customer satisfaction.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
