Job summary

A leading energy technology firm in California is seeking a Staff Electrolyte Scientist to lead innovation in electrolyte formulations for lithium-ion batteries. This role requires expertise in developing advanced electrolytes for high-Ni cathodes and silicon-based anodes and solving complex interfacial challenges. Ideal candidates will have a PhD and significant industrial experience in materials science, strong hands-on testing capabilities, and excellent data analysis skills. Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience with a PhD or 10+ years with a MS.
  • Experience developing electrolytes for high-Ni cathodes and silicon-based anodes.
  • Expertise in electrolyte formulation design and advanced additive engineering.

  • Design and develop advanced electrolyte systems for lithium-ion batteries.
