Job summary

Amcor is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Professional to support daily maintenance activities and lead troubleshooting of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on production equipment. The role requires strong PLC knowledge (AB/Siemens) and experience with electromechanical upgrades.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in industrial maintenance, a High School diploma or GED, and an associate degree or certificate in Electrical/Electronics technology, with Journeyman preferred.

Qualifications

• Education: High School diploma or GED required; Associate degree or certificate in Electrical/Electronics technology; Journeyman certification preferred.
• Experience: 8+ years in industrial maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems. Experience with blown film manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Technical Manager in daily maintenance activities and provides direction and training.
• Troubleshoots and repairs electrical, electronic, and mechanical systems on production equipment.
• Maintains PLC software and performs code modifications on AB and Siemens PLCs.
• Designs electrical circuits and electromechanical upgrades for safety and performance improvements.
• Provides 24/7 technical support for production and coordinates with contractors as needed.
• Maintains clean, organized work area and supports housekeeping standards.
