Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Hamilton, NJ in their search for a Lead Electro-Mechanical Technician. This is a contract (possible contract to hire) role on 1st Shift – Monday – Friday 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM, with the ability to support alternate shifts when required.

The role combines electrical and mechanical maintenance, requiring troubleshooting of low‑voltage systems, reading schematics, and hands-on repair across production lines.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of low-voltage troubleshooting (5–24VDC).
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical schematics.
• Proficient with multimeter diagnostics.
• Experience working inside electrical control panels.
• Basic soldering capability.
• Familiar with CMMS systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Excel).
• Bilingual (Spanish or Polish) a plus.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical systems including 5V/12V/24VDC and PCB-based boards.
• Diagnose sensors, safety circuits, and interlocks; verify power supplies.
• Maintain conveyors, gearboxes, drive systems, and mechanical components.
• Support PM tasks and calibration activities; document in CMMS.
• Coordinate with Production Supervisor and Plant Manager during downtime.
• Lead junior technicians; promote safe, GDP-compliant repairs.
