Jacobs is seeking an experienced Wastewater Treatment Lead Electrician in Oklahoma City, OK to maintain and repair critical electrical and mechanical systems in water treatment facilities. You’ll read blueprints, troubleshoot complex equipment failures, and lead teams to ensure reliability and safety across sites.

The role requires up-to-date electrical certifications, a valid driver’s license, and availability for weekends or on-call shifts. Travel to multiple client sites will be frequent.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience with electrical/mechanical maintenance and repair of utilities or industrial equipment.
• Experience using a CMMS
• Possess a valid electrician certification.
• Possess a valid driver’s license with no major infractions
• Experience with a Health & Safety program
• Ability to work weekends, holidays, shift work and on call duty as required
• High school diploma or GED and
• Possess or able to obtain a water operator certification within 3 years of hire.
• Some trade school education with emphasis on electrical and mechanical equipment and metal fabrication.
• Five years of experience with knowledge of electrical and mechanical equipment and systems, including combustion engines, pumps and related equipment.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook and to enter data into a computerized maintenance management system.
• Knowledge of DCS/PLC/HMI and IO devices; Instrumentation networks; Servers, drives, actuators, VFDs, valves

Responsabilités

• Assist with maintenance and repair of a wide variety of specialized mechanical and electrical equipment.
• Read, interpret, and work from blueprints, drawings, sketches, plans, specifications, and mechanical illustrations.
• Perform skilled electrical repair work on water/wastewater treatment plant equipment.
• Analyze equipment failures to determine cause and prevent recurrences.
• Assist project with recordkeeping and prepares routine and special reports.
• Provide on-the-job training to less experienced employees.
• Perform preventive, corrective and predictive maintenance on mechanical and electrical machinery or equipment.
• Regularly inspect the working condition and maintain cleanliness of equipment and surroundings.
• Assist with review of capital improvement project studies, designs, and contract drawings.
• Forecast material and equipment needs and perform other duties as required.
• Ensure all appropriate H&S practices are consistently followed on every task.
• Any other duties as assigned
• As an essential function, regular travel by motor vehicle to client sites with valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record; Telematics acknowledgement may be required.
