Job summary

Altech Electric of Central Florida is seeking a Lead Electrician to oversee electrical projects from start to finish. You will manage field crews, interpret blueprints, install and troubleshoot systems, and ensure compliance with NEC and local codes while delivering high-quality workmanship.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in leadership roles, a journeyman or master electrician license, and strong communication skills to coordinate with project managers and clients.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of hands-on electrical leadership experience.
• Valid journeyman or master electrician license.
• Strong knowledge of NEC and local regulations.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate electricians and apprentices on job sites.
• Interpret blueprints, drawings, and job specs.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical systems in commercial, industrial, and residential settings.
• Ensure all electrical work complies with codes and safety regulations.
• Communicate with project managers, clients, and other trades to keep progress on plan.
• Manage inventory, tools, and materials to prevent downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and progress.
