The Contractor Consultants in Columbia, MO is seeking a Journeyman Electrician – Lead Field Operations and Estimating to drive technical excellence and business growth. You will estimate project scopes, lead field crews, and manage key commercial client relationships while remaining hands-on in the field.

Qualifications

Active Journeyman Electrician license valid in Columbia/Boone County.
8+ years of electrical experience in residential and commercial settings.
3+ years building project estimates from site walk to bid submission.
2+ years leading crews or supervising field operations.
Deep knowledge of NEC, local permitting, and site safety.
Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

Conduct daily site walks to gather job requirements and prepare bids using HouseCall Pro.
Lead, schedule, and mentor field technicians on residential and commercial projects.
Price projects including panel upgrades, EV chargers, tenant finishes, and LED retrofits up to $80K+.
Oversee on-site safety, ensure code compliance, and coordinate permits/inspections.
Manage relationships with general contractors, property managers, and national partners.
Work hands-on with crew to execute service calls and oversee installations.
