Job summary

JAE’S Electric is seeking an experienced Journeyman or Master Electrician to oversee and coordinate electrical work on assigned projects. This role leads field teams from planning through completion, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, within budget, and to established quality standards.

The Lead Electrician provides technical direction, coordinates with clients and other trades, and supports the development of electricians through hands-on leadership and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Electrical experience of 5 years.
• Journeyman or Master Electrician license required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical activities on assigned projects.
• Plan and delegate work based on project requirements and team skills.
• Interpret blueprints and technical drawings to plan installations and upgrades.
• Provide technical direction and ensure code compliance.
• Coordinate electrical work with project managers, customers, contractors, and other trades.
• Train and mentor electricians to improve technical skills and independence.
• Maintain accurate records of labor hours, material usage, and expenses.
• Stay current on electrical codes and industry practices.
