Job summary

Crowder is seeking an Electrical Mechanic/Journeyman/Lead Electrician to install and connect relays, motor controls, and various switches, while interpreting electrical drawings. The role includes field wiring, conduit installation, and testing for safety and reliability across projects in the Southeast.

Responsibilities cover planning, sketching, wiring through conduit, supervising helpers, and ensuring code compliance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare sketches or follow diagrams to install wiring and conduit per plan and code.
• Measure, cut, bend, thread, and install conduit with appropriate tools.
• Supervise or pull wiring through conduit with a helper.
• Splice wires and connect to lighting fixtures and equipment.
• Install control and distribution equipment like switches and relays.
• Connect power cables to motors and install grounding leads.
• Test circuitry for safety and compatibility using instruments.
• Observe equipment to identify hazards and necessary adjustments.
• Supervise or repair faulty equipment as needed.
