Job summary

Trotter Workforce is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to oversee commercial and industrial electrical installations in Trenton, NJ. You will lead field crews, read complex drawings, and ensure work complies with electrical codes while meeting schedule and budget targets.

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years in the field, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to coordinate with the office and other trades to deliver successful project closeouts on time.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in commercial and industrial electrical projects.
• 3+ years of experience leading a team of 3-5 electricians.
• Capacity to work in high-reach equipment, scissor lifts, or bucket trucks.
• Excellent communication, professional demeanor, and detail orientation.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and industrial electrical projects
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, schematics, and specifications while adhering to electrical codes
• Lead a team of electricians and assign daily tasks
• Track manpower for tasks and ensure efficient execution
• Site management to ensure materials are onsite to perform the scope of work required to be completed
• Complete projects within deadlines and budgets
• Coordinate project updates with office on change orders and other pertinent project information
• Communicate with onsite supervisor and other trades
• Prepare as-builts and closeout documentation
