Job summary

IonQ is seeking an experienced test engineer to lead a multi-disciplinary hardware testing team in Pleasanton, CA. Responsibilities include defining DFT/DFM improvements, environmental testing, and automated data systems. A strong lab background and proficiency with measurement equipment are essential.

Qualifications

• BSEE or MSEE with leadership experience testing precision instruments.
• Experience in a laboratory environment.
• Ability to create test plans and procedures for novel instrumentation.
• Proficiency in post-test data analysis and data storage/documentation.

Responsibilities

• Be a team leader for testing and debugging complex electronic circuits.
• Collaborate with physicists, electrical, mechanical, software, and optical engineers to develop test procedures.
• Define DFT and DFM improvements with engineering.
• Create test plans for environmental, EMI and EMC testing and manage external facility execution.
