Job summary

Qualifications

• High school graduate.
• B.S. degree in engineering or equivalent.
• Five years minimum experience and background in electrical, plumbing and HVAC systems.
• Able to work with high voltage switchgear.
• Three to five years supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Schedules and supervises preventive maintenance and repair work to electrical.
• Prepares and submits maintenance reports and costs as required.
• Assures all safety measures are in effect during maintenance operation.
• Assures Hospital tools and equipment are used properly and maintains effective controls according to departmental procedures.
• Estimates quantities of materials and supplies needed for maintenance operations and submits requires according to departmental and Hospital procedures.
• Responsible for purchasing daily and routine supplies according to Hospital and departmental policy.
• Estimates, projects, and accounts for operating budget of plant engineering division of Facilities Engineering Department.
• Also requests capital equipment needs as conditions dictate.
