Job summary

IntelliPro is seeking a Principal Engineer- Electrical/RF in Claremont, NC to lead electrical design of copper Ethernet connectors and RF-enabled PCBs, driving signal integrity, power integrity, and EMC/ EMI considerations.

You will define architecture, set up HFSS simulations, mentor engineers, partner with cross-functional teams, and push for manufacturability while advancing design-for-manufacturing and choosing materials and fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Electrical Engineering with extensive design experience.
• Experience from concept to production release for signal transmission designs.
• Proficiency with ANSYS HFSS and DFMEA tools.
• Strong PCB layout for SI/PI and EMC/EMI shielding.

Responsibilities

• Conceive and develop electrical PCB designs for copper Ethernet connectors with RF SI emphasis.
• Define electrical architecture and design methodologies for next-gen copper Ethernet connectors and products.
• Lead electrical design within the business unit and mentor engineers.
• Set up simulation models and run ANSYS HFSS analyses.
• Collaborate with product, mechanical, manufacturing and quality teams to optimize designs.
• Drive design-for-manufacturing strategies and material selection with PCB vendors.
