Zachry Engineering Corporation in Charlotte, NC seeks a talented and self-motivated Lead Electrical Designer to join our Electrical Department. This role focuses on applying advanced design practices and leading execution on key projects.

You will coordinate with engineers and designers, review deliverables for technical accuracy, provide field support, and ensure designs are constructible and well-documented for construction teams.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 7+ years of electrical design experience in Power/Energy and Industrial markets.
• Strong working knowledge of electrical raceway, lighting, and grounding system design.
• Proficiency with 2D and 3D CAD tools (AutoCAD and/or MicroStation) and NEC.
• Ability to lead design teams or act as checker on complex projects.

Aufgaben

• Lead and execute electrical design activities in compliance with codes, standards and project requirements.
• Coordinate design procedures and techniques for assigned scopes or larger projects.
• Prepare and coordinate preliminary and detailed electrical designs for review and approval.
• Lead and coordinate a team of Electrical Designers to meet schedules and budgets.
