Job summary
Prattwhitney is looking for a Principal Electrical Subsystem Architect to lead the architecture development for next-generation missile guidance and control systems in Tucson, AZ. This role involves defining technical directions for high-reliability power conditioning and analog subsystems.
The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of experience in power electronics and will be responsible for leading engineering reviews and negotiations across disciplines, ensuring high-quality solutions and robust designs.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in power electronics, analog design, mixed-signal design, or high-reliability electronics development.
- Experience with MIL-STD design and systems operating in shock, vibration, and thermal extremes.
- Familiarity with Model-Based Engineering and digital engineering practices.
Responsibilities
- Architect high reliability power systems and precision analog subsystems for guidance electronics.
- Lead power architecture trade studies and technology evaluations.
- Negotiate with cross-discipline SMEs and mentor engineers.
