Job summary

Rainbow Energy Centers is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician to perform routine and emergency maintenance on electrical, instrumentation and control systems across our plant facilities in Iowa. The role requires hands-on testing, calibration, repair, and coordination for new equipment, with a strong emphasis on safety and compliance.

Qualifications

Two-year associate degree in applied science or equivalent experience.
Must have a valid driver’s license.
Ability to read and interpret vendor/manufacturer schematics and manuals.
Ability to lead process retrofits and new projects.
Strong PC literacy for record-keeping and productivity tools.

Responsibilities

Perform calibration, predictive, preventative and breakdown maintenance on electrical/instrument and control systems.
Lead tasks in transformer, cable, circuit breaker and relay testing and maintenance.
Provide project management assistance for safe, accurate equipment deployment.
Install, configure, repair and support software/hardware for process control systems.
Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory programs (NFPA, OSHA, EPA).
