Job summary

Nevada Gold Mines is seeking an Electrical Front Line Supervisor for the Cortez operations. The role focuses on supervising electrical crews, coordinating with maintenance and engineering, and ensuring safety and compliance within mine plans.

You will lead and train staff to operate and maintain electrical equipment safely. The position requires mine-related experience and a supervisory background, with the ability to handle rotating night/day shifts and work on-site at Cortez.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication skills with ability to supervise and direct underground supervision.
• Experience in an environment involving planning/scheduling of maintenance work preferred
• Minimum of three (3) years’ experience at a supervisory level required
• Minimum of six (6) years of mine related experience required
• The ability to work a rotating schedule of nights and days is an essential function of this role.

• Coordinate with maintenance to ensure equipment performs as desired
• Coordinate with engineering to ensure compliance with mine plans
• Develop and train employees to standards for safe and efficient equipment operation
